The lecturer will be a Japanese Lady who has a lot of experience in the field of Teaching Japanese Language. She was a head of Japanese Language course, Saint Joseph University in Beirut..

She can offer small cultural event since she was a head of Cultural and Educational section, Embassy of Japan in Damascus. She has Master degree of International relations.

علمت بأمر هذا الكورس ..وأنا متحمسة جدا له
جزاك الله خيرا على إعلامنا

ولكن كان لدي سؤال إذا كنت تعلمين عنه الكثير
ما السن النهائي المسموح به لدخول هذا الكورس؟ لان اختي تود أن تشترك أيضا ولكن عمرها مازال في الثانية عشرة!..فهل يسمح لها بالاشتراك؟ علما بأنها جيدة في اللغة

وأود أن أسأل عن شئ آخر إذا سمحتي
هل هي دراسة منهجية من كتب وكذا؟! أم مجرد محاضرات عامة فقط

أعتذر عن الازعاج ولكن شغلتني هذه الأسئلة

Embassy of Japan has started its application process for Japanese Study Students & Teacher Training Students. The successful applicants will have an opportunity to study in Japan for each designated courses at Universities for period of 1 year.

Can I take examination at Consulate-General of Japan in Jeddah?
- No. We only hold the exam & interview at the Embassy of Japan in Riyadh.

I have important appointment on March 16th. Can you change the exam date?
- No. We only hold the exam & interview on March 16th.

I do not have Saudi nationality but I have permanent residency in Saudi Arabia. Can I apply?
- No. Please contact the Japanese Embassy at your nationality. (Please note that some countries may not offer the same program.)

I would like to bring my family member/ maharam to Japan. Is it possible?
- Please note that under the MEXT scholarship program, the allowance and plane ticket fare will be covered only for the student who passed the exam and the screening. If you wish to bring your family to Japan, Japanese government will not pay for his/her visa, allowance or plane ticket fare. Visa processing time and necessary documents may vary depending on how you are related to the family member who wishes to go to Japan with you.

Do I have to submit my photos with the application?
- Yes, under any circumistances, submission of your photos is necessary. You may wear hijab, shemagh or ghutra. But your face has to be shown clearly.

It is mandetory to submit recommendation and from the principal or the supervisor. My principal/ supervisor cannot speak English. Can the recommendation letter be in Arabic?
- Original letter can be Arabic but we need all the documents to be translated into English or Japanese.

I only have certificates in Arabic. Is it ok?

The deadline of the application will be on JUNE 5th (THU), 2014. Any application arriving later than this date will not be accepted.

Please make sure to use the application for 2015. And then, the application should be sent to the Embassy of Japan in Riyadh ONLY. Please also note that the exams and interview will be held in Riyadh.
